Last month I had the opportunity to be involved with a group of local physicians and health care providers coordinating needs for the new administration in Washington. The Obama transition team has sought advice from a local level on what the needs of the community are and to pass those suggestions on to the new Secretary of Health and Human Services Tom Daschle.
